Introduction to conditioning – Youth (pre-level 1)

This course aims to provide prior online learning resources for the Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Course. All modules must be completed prior to attending the face to face practical session. This course will look at the youth player and how best to prepare the youth player for the physical demands of rugby

The Strength and Conditioning for Youths online course comprises five modules covering:

  • Long term athlete development
  • Functional Screening
  • Game demands warm-up and recovery
  • Preparing for resistance training
  • Speed and agility
