The coach may select from a variety of medicine ball throwing exercises. Further, if the S&C coach wishes to develop pushing, overhead throwing, jump and throw movement patterns or any other commonly used throwing movements in the sport, the medicine ball offers a great variety of exercises.

Here, we select a side throw to partner incorporating a hip drive that leads the arms in the throwing action.
