Dumbbell curl and press

Figure 14. The seated dumbbell curl and press.

The dumbbell curl and press may be completed while standing or seated. We prefer the standing option as it requires greater attention to a strong a stable upright posture. The player curls the dumbbells to shoulder level and then presses overhead while maintaining balance. The dumbbells are returned in a controlled manner to shoulder level and then lowered to the side of the thighs before repeating the required repetition number.
