The power clean may be completed from a number of starting positions depending on the competence of the player. For example, some players may be proficient at starting from the floor while others may require a mid-thigh starting position. Also others may be better at completing the power clean from a raised bloc or raised bar position. The S&C coach will be best placed to determine the start position.
