Additional game-related conditioning drills

Contact drill

This drill combines a number of game-related activities. The main focus within all three drills is body position and leg drive. In drill A, the player accelerates 5 metres then hits the bag using a strong power position, driving the shield up and back. In drill B, the player accelerates 7 metres and tackles the bag using a strong power position and drives the bag up and back. In drill C, the player carries the ball into and through the two bags in a strong power position.
