Cool-down

Overview

The aim of a cool-down routine is literally to gradually return the player to a near pre-exercise or baseline cardiovascular state with as much restoration of their range of movement (mobility) and stability intact. Other important post-exercise goals include rehydration and restoration of fuel stores that will have been depleted or reduced during intense and prolonged exercise.
