The principles of training


When used and applied to planning a programme, the principles of training are guidelines that will ensure better gains and maintenance of fitness. The principles described here will allow the Strength and Conditioning coach to plan and review the work and recovery schedules. Players will display an individual response to both adaptation and recovery. The Strength and Conditioning coach will be in a better position to ensure that all team members adapt positively when the principles are applied.
